Each year, in recognition of National Children’s Dental Health Month, Dr. Brieden hosts field trips to his office for local 3rd grade classes. At these visits, students learn important things about their oral health. Proper brushing and flossing, healthy foods to eat, causes of tooth decay and gum disease are all discussed and demonstrated with colorful visuals. They also learn some fun things about X-rays, models of the teeth and how braces work.

To encourage good compliance with brushing and flossing, wearing of elastics, and keeping of appointments, Dr. Brieden has ongoing fun games and contests for his patients to participate in while they are undergoing orthodontic treatment.

Dr. Brieden hosts a phenomenal ice-skating party for all of his patients each year. This is a fun-filled day with the doctor and the staff, and there is good food, great prizes and just a good time for everyone!
